The ladies I’ve encountered in this group are all very caring, loving, and understanding also very supportive. I’m an older step mom and have learned alot from the knowledge this group has on today’s topics and issues. Frustrated? Angry? Give this group a try. I love being a part of this group.

Ask questions and get advice that you can work into your life this is not a hate bash on birth moms..or I can’t stand these kids…… No this is about making things work for the entire family….. because after all the plan is that your entire family is well so if you are a stepmom please by all means reach out to this group they are spectacular
When I first started my blender times as a stepmom, I was shocked that things didn’t blend — I am a BM who had been coparenting for years with my X & his wife. We worked hard to make things work for OUR kids. Unfortunately, I had no idea that things would NEVER be good with my new husband & his X.
When I say BBM saved my family, starting with my marriage, I am totally serious!! The positive support & encouragement, the friendships that I will cherish for a lifetime, and the real life experiences shared are most valuable & have been truly life changing.
Lisa is a sweet, loving, genuine, AMAZING lady—always giving and truly wanting to help others. I cannot imagine, nor do I want to, my life today if I hadn’t found this group in its early days which was in the early years of my marriage.
This is an amazing community of amazing woman all dealing with a lot of the same life challenges as a stepmom (or we’d like to refer to as Bonusmom). Lisa is the backbone of the group and is the amazing individual who saw the need for support and started this amazing group! I have been blessed to personal become friends with so many of these amazing woman! We are there for each other during rough times and happy time! This is an uplifting group of women that have helped me navigate the very challenging stepmom role. I’ve been a part of BBM since 2013 and it has saved me in so many ways.
I have been with BBM for quite a few years and it’s like having my own support group with me in my living room or in my bedroom while I am crying or silently screaming. I have grown and watched so many other mom’s grow around me throughout the miles, made friends with people who understand my situation and love that I am not alone in this world, love that I am not the only one going through what I am going through, love that I am supported.
I joined this group years ago and found a family of women who got what I was going through. I never heard “you knew what you were getting into when you married him” and other platitudes I heard from family and friends who didn’t know. Lisa has shared her journey openly so others can know we are not invisible.

I thought I knew what I was in for because I grew up in a blended family. I was not prepared. Not. Prepared. I felt very alone and any time I tried to reach out to someone, I would get the classic “You knew what you were getting yourself into when you chose a man with children.”
Ladies, this is a LIE! And it took a wonderful group of women who have walked in my shoes to make me realize that my feelings are valid and that I matter. I have a choice. I get a say. I am important. And so do you. I don’t know where I would be today if not for the ongoing support and encouragement from this extraordinary team of women and I can never thank them enough for the valuable impact they have made in my life. Some of these ladies have become some of the best friends I’ve ever known and we’ve never even met. I would highly recommend this group to any Stepmom who is struggling, or even any Stepmom who is living on cloud 9! There is something here for everyone and for blended families from all walks of life.
